What a wonderfully sweet little story. This book isn't as emotionally devastating as Charlotte's Web, but Stuart is a lovely tale of differences and uniqueness. Stuart is not always likable (his treatment of his date who seems to want to enjoy her time with him despite all the little messiness life presents is an example of this), he is sometimes whiny, and certainly flawed. And that flawed nature makes him a perfect character for this classic book for children. ...more
