Back in 1975, ABC produced a TV movie entitled The Night That Panicked America. The movie retold the events of October 30, 1938, when the brilliant Orson Wells dramatized a radio broadcast of H. G. Wells' The War of the Worlds in such a realistic way that many Americans actually believed Martians were invading Earth, and some even committed suicide. Ever since I watched that movie, I have been meaning to read this book.

Ada kata yang seharusnya "teh" malah tertulis "the" XD, ada beberapa (lumayan banyak) typo, dan double spasi.
Agak kurang nyaman dengan terjemahannya, ada banyak enter aneh yang aku tidak tahu maksudnya. Ada satu paragraf dobel dihalaman 111-112.

Cerita novelnya kurang seru, entah karena pengaruh terjemahan atau versi aslinya memang monoton atau karena tokoh "saya" yang menjadi point of view cerita ini adalah seorang penulis sains karena itu dia bercerita seperti buku pelajaran.
