When I was a kid, I absolutely loved Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I begged people to read it to me at every opportunity. I got my mom to read it to me. I got my grand dad to read it to me. I got my aunt to read it to me. I just loved it.
Now I'm an adult well into my thirties. I got two kids of my own. A boy of 2 years and a girl of 5. So what's more natural than reading it for my girl?

Non avevo mai letto la fabbrica di cioccolato e ho colto l'occasione quando lo stava leggendo mio figlio e mi sono divertita per un paio d'ore. Menzione d'onore per i traduzioni che hanno reso le poesie degli Umpa Lumpa in modo magistrale.
