I read the Barnes & Noble edition of Aesop's Fables and I must say that they are brilliant! This is a foundational element to literature as a whole, for some of our most notable stories and expressions come from Aesop's storytelling.

Short tales but a large number. Many are very similar. Works best if taken just a few at a time. (My edition is not listed.)
