What Members Thought

I had too much hype for this before reading this, I don't understand what people love about this book, it was ok, I kept trying to keep in mind it was from the point of view of a 16 year old boy with no idea what he wanted to do with his life. I wanted to get to the end of this book but found most of the very dry and depressing. I would recommend this for a young reader not a 40-year-old like myself.

No wonder they call the classics timeless. They’re timeless for a reason.
My favourite read in a long, long time. For all the reasons they banned this book, they are so insignificant compared to the lessons and relatability many teens must have taken away from this coming-of-age book.

Setelah membaca novel ini yang ingin kulakukan adalah memegang tangan Holden dan menangis dihadapannya.
Mungkin Holden akan mengataiku phony haha.
