hati-hati Insanity is contagious :D

Catch-22 is one of the funniest and darkest books I've ever read. What makes it dark is how funny it is. What makes it funny is how dark it is. Also the word play. The word play is stunning. I've always been a linguist, and had a love for playing with language for effect and Heller has it in droves in this book. It's also a stunning critique on things like war, PTSD, courage, humanity, corruption, and evil.
This, Candide, and A Confederacy of Dunces are my top three funniest books. I laughed out ...more
