I love this book, but it has driven me crazy. As was obviously intended.
The entire book is so deliberately decorated with blatant irrationalities that it's hilarious. And sad. And disturbing. And I swear my blood pressure rises each time Yossarian is in a plane. But the inhumanity and sheer cruelty breaks my heart and a bit of my spirit as well.
