I thoroughly enjoyed the story and the novel way that Collins developed the story by having characters "write" the part of the story they were involved in. This method allowed for outstanding character development and different perspectives throughout. Each character came alive through Collins' masterful descriptions and interactions with other characters. My endless audio book for the week. More than 24 repetitive dragging endless hours. I assume the author was paid by the word, and got very rich writing this tome. Yes, buried in all the repetitive talk there was a "mystery." When I finally learns the "secret" that was being protected, I no longer cared.
