REVIEW OF GOETHE'S ORIGNAL GERMAN TEXT
It has indeed been quite a long time since I read Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's classic, and while I do not have the time (or even the required energy and inclination) to reread all of Faust at present and with attention to detail, I can and will state that Faust is now one of my favourite pieces of German language drama, period (or rather, that Faust has become this slowly, but steadily and surely).

This is a classic and is referenced in a lot of philosophy. I simply wanted an understanding of what the references were. I really enjoyed this book.
