This is Virginia Woolf’s third novel. It was published in 1922. It is considered her most experimental. It is definitely my favorite!
What Woolf was trying to do, and which I think she marvelously succeeds with, is to capture how it feels to experience life. There is less of a focus on what a person does, more on how we internally perceive and react to everyday events. Listened to an audio of this book on my mini tablet while at work. I am still unable to get into Woolf's books. I continue to read them because most of them are on the 1001 list. If it wasn't for that I would not read any more of them.
