What Members Thought
I believe this is the best novel I have ever read. I am awed by Alexandre Dumas' ability to write a 1,276 page book (my English Penguin Classics version) by hand, to maintain continuity throughout without any (to my knowledge) plot errors, to keep the reader interested and involved in the characters (especially Edmond Dantes/the Count of Monte Cristo) and the plot to the end. I honestly didn't want this book to end. It was that good! I love how Dumas developed Dantes' character: (view spoiler)

An amazing story for the ages. Action, adventure, love, treasure, and more in this thrilling tale by one of my favorite authors. Can't wait to read more by Dumas.
