I knew the general plot of Charlotte's Web before listening. I knew it was sad. I knew Charlotte died.
But...I didn't know she died alone right after she laid her eggs. WTF.
Emotional damage.

First time reading Charlotte's Web, and it was genuinely such a sweet, heartfelt little gem! I wish we had more children's books like this that not only does not patronise your intelligence, but also, in its infinite wisdom, teaches you so many concepts about life, growing up, mortality, integrity, hard work, friendship, generosity, and love. It was a pleasure to read. I feel like it's one of those books I'll end up quoting forever!
