I knew the general plot of Charlotte's Web before listening. I knew it was sad. I knew Charlotte died.

But...I didn't know she died alone right after she laid her eggs. WTF.

Emotional damage.

Oh, and that little bastard rat Templeton. Stupid fat thing. Couldn't stand him. This book had me in my feelings from the beginning. I have to agree with Wilbur on his first assessment of Charlotte. Love love love this book. I vaguely remember reading this book many many years ago but of course I've forgotten a lot so it was good to have read this again. There is not a single character that I dislike and I especially love Templeton. Such a funny sarcastic rat and his meltdown when Wilbur asked him to help with Charlotte's egg sac was hilarious! It was so sad towards the end and I really wanted the story to go on forever. ...more
