There are different ways of showing love but how Mr. Darcy did it was extraordinary. Well, maybe not at the beginning of the book but he learned and he did it heroically.
I believe that now generations should learn from this book. We should know how to take our pride in a right way and be careful of our prejudices. We may lose people we love if we misjudged them and if we hold unto our pride. This book is so romantic. I love it!

Read the annotated version with David M. Shapard. It will not only explain historical references, but also sheds a whole lot of light on the crucial necessity of marrying off the Bennet girls, why their barrister uncle isn't in the same league as Darcy's judge uncle, and much more. A must for really understanding the story! ...more
