In this book, we hope that at the end of the book, we have seen the last of McKetrick. He was apparently back up to his old tricks again. I think I feel sorry for Jonah in this book though. He seems a bit lost, and I think I would have liked to see Jonah and Merit end up together. There was a lot of affection on his part for her. I think if Ethan weren't there, there could have been more affection on her part. I think Ethan for the most part in the previous books was very self-centered. This is probably where I get my feelings from. He's not like that in this book though. I think we have definitely seen a change in him, hopefully permanent, since he was brought back from the dead. I don't know how long I'll be able to wait to pick up the next book in the series since this one was left with a cliffhanger at the end, like she usually does. ...more
