Loved the premise of writing a book using old photographs as inspiration. What killed my interest was realizing about 3/4 in that the book was written to be part of a series. This really should be 3.5 stars.

I thought the book was interesting and had a unique premise. What I didn't like about the book is the ending could easily have said "to be continued."
