Wtf happened? Book 1 was crazy good. I couldn't put it down. Action packed and addicting. Then book 2 happened. It was completely opposite. Slow and boring for the most part. The last 10% or so was better but by that point I was just wishing the story would wrap up.
Of course I'll still read book 3. I might as well finish the trilogy. Maybe I'll get lucky and be blown away. Maybe book 2 was just a filler and the last book will rock my world. One can hope. ...more

Re-Read to finish series.
One of my book goals of 2018 was to finish certain series that I started and stopped (usually because the last nooks had not yet been released). This is one of those series. In order to do that, I needed to re-read all the original books because I can't remember anything!
First read of this book was a hardbook. Second read was on audiobook. Again, I did not enjoy this book as much the second time around. However, there was no movie to get me to watch and refresh my memory ...more
