A student recommended I read this book as another good dystopian book after I finished the Hunger Games series. At the time I think only the first two books in the series were out.

This was a fun, quick read--similar to Hunger Games in that it's about a bunch of teenagers being put through crazy tests. Less violent, though. This is a trilogy.

Very well thought out. Very much a YA book but it does introduce more mature themes.

I read this based on recommendations from reading The Hunger Games. This was not as good, but the concept was similar and it was pretty horrifying.
Wow! I devoured this book, simply devoured it. Toward the ending, I felt as if I had been holding my breath for a long time.
I'd seen the movie first, but even so the book still kept me on the edge of my seat. I look forward to reading the rest of these books!! ...more
