I really wanted to like this more! One of the reasons I think I put off reading it initially was exactly one of the reasons I didn't love it - the woowoo time loop bit. It just didn't work for me. And how August and her rag-tag group of friends solve the time loop was supposed to be this big puzzle solving climax and it was just boring and too long. I did like the found family theme, and found some of the side characters to bring some warmth and humor. In the end, August saving Jane - both with ...more
