Shelves: romance, scifi

I loved this book. It was a fun, weird concept and so sweet and romantic and funny and just adorable. One of these books I found myself thinking about when I wasn’t reading it — and super excited to get back to whoever I had some time for it. I was rooting so hard for Jane, whatever happened, to get some kind of happy ending - she felt SO real to me. That… was quite a bit racier than I was expecting. After red, white, and royal blue I should’ve seen it coming, but somehow I didn’t realize it was the same author. Lovely characters, fun plot, definitely worth reading.

This was cute, fun, and fantastical. I didn’t even mind that it was about 23 year olds living in Brooklyn—something that normally induces vomiting at the mere thought.

I'll be perfectly honest, I requested this book simply because I liked another book by the author and I didn't read the description. I had a little trouble getting into this one and the concept of Jane being displaced from the 1970s. Eventually I got into it and enjoyed trying to help solve the mystery of Jane. ...more
