A fun book. Great characters. Liked having old characters who weren’t treated with condescension and weren’t made into caricatures.
So good! Charming, funny, and a great mystery too! Loved the cast of characters!
I have been thoroughly entertained. And I can't wait to read the next one!

Is there something wrong with me? Two DNF's in succession? I simply cannot get into this. I think I prefer to watch charming, quaint murder mysteries. Nothing is happening, the characters don't seem especially interesting. Feels pretty two-dimensional. I give up - it's okay!

I almost DNFed this book but stuck with it because I really liked the four main characters and I enjoyed Joyce's diary. The novel was too long and had too many side stories. It ended rather abruptly with all the storylines tied up in a neat bow, which was a little annoying given how long it took to get there.

Entertaining but it can also be a bit frustrating because there are so many characters and too many red herrings. I did love the characters though.
3.5 Engaging characters, good writings, somber moments. I’ll definitely read more.
