This book is heartbreaking, heartwarming, and humorous in nearly equal measure. The characters are wonderfully realistic, and the plot is fun.
Murder mysteries are tricky to write because readers need to know enough to hang on and be curious, but not enough to see through the scenario and solve things before the sleuth. Took A Bit
This took me a little bit to get interested. I kept putting it down. But, once I got reading, I really did enjoy the dynamics of these characters. Not just our club, but also Donna and Chris and all the outside characters. I thought the conversations were well done.
