I thoroughly enjoyed this book! Funny and more lighthearted than I expect from a mystery, great characters, a lot of warmth. This is a perfect "reading during a pandemic" kind of mystery - a nice escape, not too grim. The plot threads get a little tangled toward the end, but overall very satisfying.

This was a book club book, and I couldn't make it to the meeting, so I've been sloooooooowly finishing it off. Not my cup of tea. Why? Too many detectives (6, at least). Too many other people (who I didn't care about, so I kept forgetting who they were). I don't like books about old people. Yeah, I'm old, but old people are boring. I don't like entertainment about the mob, and this book was close enough that I didn't like that bit. And the resolution was unsatisfying. So, I won't be doing any mo
