This was creative-a mom witness her son murder someone and then she jumps back in time daily to puzzle together how the event came about. It had a plot device (lies of omission) that never works for me, because there is no plot if the person is forthcoming! I enjoyed the few twists-that ending!- and I liked that ultimately it was about how love changes lives. But again, not a fan of secrets, especially among spouses.

The best timey-wimey crime-mystery I've read in a while. The writing is high quality, the structure is one I haven't read before in this exact formation, and the motivations of the characters actually make sense, which is not something you can always say about a crime/thriller/mystery. I hope it's gotten me out of my reading slump that has lasted for months now.

At first, I thought this book was just ok. But the ending is really good and I ended up enjoying it quite a bit. Great mystery + time travel.
