Pros: Interested premise of going backward to stop a crime. I thought the author also did a good job of having both Jen moving backward and Ryan telling his story in present/moving forward time.
Cons: Jen spends a lot of time wondering if she caused this by being a bad mother. There were interesting things about the twist, especially her father being involved.
