As someone who has had chronic pain and chronic fatigue for most of my life, Chloe's character was extremely relatable. The loss of relationships, the fears of being unlovable, the reluctance to make solid plans because you don't know how you will feel, all of that was so spot on. I adored Red and his ability to see beyond the pain and fatigue and Chloe's insistence that she is okay when she really wasn't okay at all. Just an overall wonderfully told story. ...more

It was ok for me. Not a bad book, but not really for me. I just don't mix with the whole "act like we dislike each other" thing. It always comes off as childish to me, and ruins any other good vibes the book has.

I will say, however, that the external conflict had a satisfying resolution and wasn't drawn out to ridiculous proportions, which I really enjoyed.
