What Members Thought

This book hit me hard. Although it’s not a perfect book, it is the kind of book that illuminates the reality of life in a black body. While there were some pretty big coincidences in the plot and some passages that were a bit didactic, I still think this book is a worthwhile read that could change some hearts and minds.

Such an incredible book, it's definitely going down as one of my top favorites. I will forever remember this story and the continuous, racial, prejudicial, ignorant (I can go on) battles that are still happening and the lessons we're still learning. And there was something about hearing the audio instead of reading the novel that really impacted me emotionally too. The narrator was perfect. Dear Martin and Nic Stone deserve more stars.
