What Members Thought

Rebecca Heneghan
My mom forced this on me....I didn't think that I could handle it. This is just such an amazing story of survival and love. I am so glad I got to know Lale and Gita even though I was crying at the pool today. ...more

Excellent, excellent story, quick but sad read. I almost wish this would become a movie but I realize because of the tragic subject matter it might be hard to produce and watch. This is one of those important books that I think everyone should read.

Could have been great

Why take a true story and not put in the effort and research to make it authentic? Collaborate the memory of your characters and line up your facts. This could have been great if better researched.
Jen Ifer's Inklings
This story was told in a very captivating way while still highlighting both the horrors of Auschwitz and the hope and resilience that many of the captive exhibited.
