I found this to be pretty boring. It's a character-driven story rather than plot-driven, which would be fine if only there was enough character development to make it worth it. Any character growth or change is minimal and never explored in depth. Relationships between diverse groups of people, what it means to be a person, and what family means are major themes, but they're also never explored in meaningful ways. ...more
