This is an amazing novel about one child's path to discovering their identity as well as that child's family's journey with them. I really enjoyed this book but it took me a while to read it, in part because I was absorbing the writing. I am looking forward to reading more by this author. This book felt magical in part because of the fairy tales told.

This is one of the best books I’ve read in a while! To me, it was a beautiful story of parenting.
