In the beginning this book is so slow.. lots of repetition. But it's getting better and better after half part of the book. I love Sam Kingston and all her dilemmas, and OMG I love Kent!! My perfect candidate for book boyfriend of the year *wink*

One of the best written books I've read in a long, long time. A teen book, but Lauren Oliver has a way with words that just makes you feel like you're floating through the story, absorbing every detail and description without even realizing it.

Groundhog Day for mean girls. A bit heavy-handed, perhaps, but it kept me turning the pages to see how it ended. Would appeal to an 8th or 9th grade girl.

The end redeemed this for me, but overall I found the narrator to be pretty unsympathetic and too easily redeemed. Also, the way the gimmick was executed made it feel pretty repetitive.
