I remembered this book with such nostalgia...and it isn't the fantastic adventure I quite recalled...but still, I can see why I loved it as a kid. I'm now very, very interested to see what the rest of this series is all about!

I selected this book for my 11-year-old and I to listen to on our recent road trip. We both enjoyed this book of Brian's survival while isolate in the mountains after a plane crash. My son would likely give it 5 stars.

I think this would be a great book to read aloud to a young child. I guess I will have to wait for a grandchild!
Great story about adventure, survival, and making the best of things.
