I enjoyed reading this - enough that I will probably circle back and listen to the ted talk version of it as well. The style is conversational and practical, with a sort of "I'll be post-feminist when we're post-patriarchy" winsome air. I appreciate when women can contextualize their lived experiences in a feminist context, and I love a personal feminist narrative along the lines of, "the first time someone called me a feminist..." Oh, this is painful... everything she says is so self-evident to me, and knowing that the examples she gives are true, that the opposite is so self-evident to so many other people... it breaks my heart!
