Sara travels from her home in Sweden to a tiny town in Iowa to meet Amy, who she only knows through letters. Unfortunately, she arrives on the day of Amy's funeral. Lost, Sara wonders what to do. The townspeople insist that she stay in Amy's house. They won't let her pay for anything and she decides to open a bookstore with the contents of Amy's library in order to repay the kindness she's been shown. As Sara sets out to connect the people she meets with books they need, things begin to change.

A really enjoyable read. While the book is a fairly easy read, the book has a depth to it. Highly recommended.
