I'm not usually a fan of YA, and my rating reflects that. Mostly I was in it for the Dolly Parton references and so I could watch the Netflix movie. It was a sweet story but nothing too compelling or surprising.

Enjoyable book. I did wish that the drag queens had played a slightly larger roll in the story but overall I liked it a lot and look forward to reading Puddin'.
