Shelves: read-2016, arc, scifi-fantasy

A fast-paced thriller with some science fiction leanings -- fantastic book! The first half left me breathless and then (thankfully) it slowed down a bit. The second half got totally mind-bendy and weird (and maybe a little bogged down by the science), but I was still completely hooked on this book.

In general, sci Fi is a genre I stay away from. But this was a STORY first, and the science was secondary. Just the right kind of sci Fi for me. I was intrigued and it made my commute seem much faster!

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I really liked this book! I'm not much of a science fiction or mystery reader, but this book features my favorite aspects of the best books/films/shows of those genres with great, "literary fiction"-style writing.
