This was such a fun story. I love the modern spin on the Sherlock Holmes tale.

Charlotte and James are the descendants of Sherlock Holmes and his partner John Watson. Jaime and Charlotte find themselves at the same teen boarding school in New England, linked by a string of murders and attacks on the school as they dig through the clues to solve the mystery.

I have some strong reservations about this book, but did greatly enjoy the two main characters and a number of the secondary characters. Descendants of the original Holmes and Watson meet up at a boarding school and murder ensues. I'm troubled by the handling of some serious topics throughout the book, and I think it is difficult to give an adult man's lifetime of baggage and vices to 16 year olds, but in the end this kept me up reading past my bedtime so I think I'll see how the series progress ...more
