What Members Thought
Utterly captivating and beautifully written. Much of this books reminds me of L. Frank Baum's whimsical Oz series, both in the world the author creates and the fanciful cast of characters. The writing style is reminiscent of Baum's work as well, in the very best ways. Valente's mastery of the writing craft continues to surprise me. I'm just sorry I waited this long to read such a wonderful story.

Man, I wanted to love this one. The author's amazing way with words Leger me spellbound, but I just can't handle stories if people getting trapped in Faery. It just creeps me out beyond belief. If you're cool with the Faery thing, and you love beautiful work play, you'll probably love this book.
