A great installment in the "Under Suspicion" series, by MHC and Alafair Burke. I'm so glad I was able to read this before it was officially out- thank you, Netgalley! I really enjoyed this mystery. The identity of the murderer was a surprise. Love when that happens!

I had no idea Ms. Clark had a new "series." I read the first one and then picked this up at the library. It was pretty good. Same main character - Laurie the TV producer of the popular crime show, "Under Suspicion." She is a single mom to Timmy, dating Alex, the show's host, and relying on ex-cop dad Leo to help raise her son. This book tackles a story about the "Runaway Bride," a bride who disappears the night before her wedding. Did she get killed or did she just walk away to start a new life?

I really like this series. They are quick reads that hold my attention. This one, I kept guessing who was the murderer....the obvious guess isn't always the right guess! Looking forward to book #3...
