Good, but I found myself wondering if it would have worked better as a play.
Short read. Another requirement for my African American literature class. I'm not usually big on required readings but this, like the others assigned, was pretty relevant.

It's a classic. I'm glad I finally read it. I don't really have much to say about it. It probably would have had more of an impact on me if I had not read (and loved) The Vanishing Half first.
