Brilliant. Really perfect time to read a book about skin color, beauty and the question of what do we do when we see wrong/evil with all that is happening in the world especially the states right now.
I agree with other reviewers that in pieces it's fabulous and as whole it is lacking. However it seems intentional. So basically I have to sit down and write all my questions that are left unanswered and figure it out for myself. I'm excited to read her other books now! ...more

Beautifully written, oddly finished
