I haven't read/listened to many Autobiography books so I might not be the best person to review or rate this book, but I do . It was funny but not completely enjoyable and that was a disappointment for me as this was GoodReads choice on Humors of 2015, good thing it had enough pull that I didn't drop it and other than first quarter enjoyed it more or less.

So, I think this one is better than her first one, but I'm still reminded of why I didn't love the first one. I root for Mindy Kaling hard, as she's a female writer of color in the middle of Hollywood, and her voice is on-point on body image, immigrant experiences, hard work, and many other topics. I also really appreciate her candor and vulnerability, which is difficult to find in celebrity memoirs and essay collections. But I still just can't relate to her obsessions with finding Mr. Right or

I really enjoyed her first book so i was excited to read this one. It was an enjoyable read. I would recommend it but i have to admit i wasn't blown away by it. It almost felt, as someone else has pointed out in the past, that she was pushed and rushed into writing it.

Perfect beach read for the days I spent on the Cape this summer! Mindy Kaling's writing is conversational and funny. I find her to be very relatable.
