I had almost given up on this series a couple of books back when it seemed like Charlaine Harris had given poor Roe a little more than her share of heartache. This entry really redeems that in a big way. It's got a satisfying mystery, some dirt on Aurora's family that's pretty juicy, and of course, a really great personal story for Roe. I like these books, but they're getting far too predictable. I easily guessed the killer in the last three as soon as that character was introduced. I may have guessed the other ones too, but I don't remember them! I guess that's the point of these books, though -- fun fluff that you don't have to think about much. ...more
