I didn't think I was in the mood for this, but I was VERY wrong. I could BARELY put it down. It is so fun, so angsty, funny, swoony (is that a word?). Some things I saw coming, others were a complete surprise. I love being able to be surprised!
I wish this was a series so that I could look forward to more and more. Alas.

Loved this charming story about an outsider finding his place in the world and the people who make it meaningful. Rainbow Rowell managed to grab me from the first page and I was immediately immersed in the story, thinking about it constantly even when forced to do annoying things like work, sleep or interact with people.

If this book had not been a little slow at the beginning, I'd have given it a 5, but Rowell spent a little too much time on Simon's obsession over why Baz was missing from school. The book gets a lot better once Baz shows up.
