I really like the concept of reading a story about B characters in a super cliche YA story (see Redshirts for a Sci-fi version of this). It's so fun to read and laugh about but also you start to think about your own life and wether or not you would be a main character or a supporting character or whether it really matters haha. Ever wonder what's going on with the high school kids who AREN'T saving the world from supernatural threats or falling in love with vampires? This is their story. They're an awesome tight night group of friends just trying to graduate high school. Really great complex characters and I liked the premise.
