A book of letters and responses - like a modern day Dear Abby (I bet Gen z and on don’t know who that is). The author is Cheryl Strayed who solidifies herself as an even more beautiful and thoughtful writer with this book. She has such skill! While I don’t agree with all her responses to the letters, I am not reviewing opinion rather the fact that each letter was written back to the writer with so much love and care and beauty. She is so vulnerable in her responses and shares pieces of her life

Tiny Beautiful Things was, in and and of itself, a tiny beautiful thing. Many of the letters to Sugar, as well as Strayed’s replies, moved me to tears. Some reviewers did not like her use of personal stories in her responses, but they did not bother me. If anything, they reminded me that the human experience is wholly universal, even in all the unique intricacies of our lives.
