Cress is another wonderful character to add to the series, also with her own set of talents and challenges that add to the mix of motley "good guys" we follow in this series. At some point, it's tough to switch between so many points of view - Cinder, Scarlet, Cress, Kai - but I understand the reason. Looking forward to reading the final installment in this series!

Good heavens I love this series. All the characters and their great character development taking place in a creative setting. There is a little bit of war violence, but it's easy to recommend to middle school kids because it's clean. I've listened to the whole series (so far) on audiobook and enjoy the reader a lot.
