I expect certain things when I read a Stephanie Plum novel... I expect Stephanie to be awful at her job, I expect her to wreck or blow up at least one car, I expect her to love Morelli and be freaked out about commitment, I expect her to be in lust with Ranger and freaked out about that, I expect Granny to do and say some things that make me cringe, and I expect Lula to be Lula. Mostly, I expect to laugh and forget my life for a few hours.

I remember when I was first introduced to Stephanie Plum, and I read books 1-4 in a matter of a few days. Plum is the most inept bounty hunter you could imagine. This one departs a little from the norm because she doesn't h ...more

Maybe after 14 books in a row I should take a break. The predictability is soothing, but this morning I woke up totally unable to remember whether or not I finished the book! Looking for the next junk food series to read. (Hey, I'm not knocking junk food, but it is what it is!) ...more

This series provides constant entertainment. The characters and their experiences and interactions are addictive. No, it's not great literature, but when I want well-written diversion that makes me laugh out loud, I know where to go. ...more

These books are *such* a guilty pleasure. I don't know that there is any literary value here - just an entertaining read that makes me laugh out loud and blush a bit. I'm sure I'll keeping reading them as long as they are being published. ...more

This was a typical Stephanie Plum bool, I didnt like it as much as some of the others, but all in all, it was a light, fun read.
