What Members Thought

Goofy. Awkward. Funny.

It was fun catching up with Allie after so many years. Some parts of this were funny and some parts were sad, because it is a story about life (since it is her life). It's also framed more around grief, so it was interesting to see all of the stories connect together.

I love Allie Brosh. Her brain is a beautiful thing. Although she presents herself as unique, I deeply connect with so many of her stories. I love love love the Richard story, the poop suspect story, and the story about the grocery/knitter. Her stories about her sister are beautiful, heart-wrenching, and yet so delightful. And my favorite favorite is her last story. This book seems unnecessarily physically heavy (why so heavy) but I plowed through it.

There were parts of this that I really enjoyed, but there were some parts that I just slogged through. There also a lot of times that I just thought WTF she is so weird.

Laughed so hard I physically wept. A couple times.
