This is the sort of book that is so sad and beautiful that it rips your heart right out. After you dry your ugly-cry tears, you hand it to everyone you love and say, "Read this! It's SOOOOOO good." Those words aren't enough, but they are all you'll have left.

Well now this book really didn't do me any favors tonight. Not sure who I would recommend it to... Someone who is ok with a heart wrenching story... someone who hasn't lost a parent to cancer and wasn't there to say goodbye... not sure.
Not sure how many stars to give it either. Was it well written? yes. Would I give it to someone and say "you have to read this." not so sure.

I loved this book! It feels like Neil Gaiman type writing and it's so well done. (Betterworld challenge: a book that's been adapted into a movie)
